Is there a European Islam? A large part of public opinion in Europe has a negative perception of Muslims, due to fear of terrorist attacks and the alarmist narrative of Islamic immigration, thus considered two related phenomena. All this generates forms of Islamophobia with repercussions from the high social costs, both as regards the process of integration and - paradoxically - for the same fight against radicalization. Europe has the history and the resources to produce models of inclusion capable of defusing this spiral of interconnected social conflicts. The authoritative voices gathered in the volume show the little-known reality of the "Muslims of Europe" and indicate the path to possible integration.
